wonder if we have a kubota insider who may know if and when this new model may be released? been considering a tb210r takeuchi for next year to add to the micro fleet. but would almost prefer the kubota looks like a great machine

Sooner rather than later, I hate hireing micro machines with backhoe style levers (that operate nothing like a backhoe!!)

Sure is gra, I've had it just over a year now  and can't fault it! It's a brilliant little machine with plenty of power for its size! I've been meaning to get some pics up but just haven't had the time, plus the damn annoying way of having to post photos!

I think those ergo controls on the u10 are a bolt on option? but I recall them being very pricey!

i also prefer the 008 as we like the counter weight as far back as possible, the zero swing micros are always poorly balanced, especially as we run a 1.5t 600mm bucket on ours. you couldnt handle that kind pf weight on the u10

 that's a bulking bucket!!

It would probably handle it over the ends of the tracks as they have a longer track frame than 008's but yes over the side could be interesting although the u10's tracks extend out wider....

I've got a 3' dyking bucket for my K008-3, it's interesting having a bucket wider than the machine. And yes, it will swing over the side without tipping, which surprised me the first time I tried it. Downside is just about zero penetration in anything harder than topsoil.
