Austin Maestro 1.3 5 door
 
Got my new toy yesterday in the form of the above,1984 A reg,two owners from new,64,000 miles.I spent most of the day tickling it up.......shear nostalgia.No pics at the moment as just making the transition from massive desk computer to lap top and dont know how to get pics on as yet:D

Congratulations your Lordship does this mean the butler will be returning along with the sofa, sorry chauffer :D

Monday two old Vauxhalls came down slip road but I was too slow to get a picture, Velocets ? I think they were, quite a big car for the time.

Parked outside the shed here is an old Escort that the recovery boss has bought her son who takes his driving test today. Will get a couple of pics for you.

Mum is now wondering about the fact it has no ABS or Airbags :rolleyes:
never mind the fact replacement panels will be a nightmare to source :o

It can't be a RS as it has 4 doors and they had a twin head light cone fitted

i had one of those as my first car , and did i give it death :D
i think it lasted about a year , had headlights of a jcb at one point after an incident one night :D

you are correct about the 4 doors mog, But you could get flat nose rs2000's Daz
