Owatrol is another very effective small scale rust preventative as it seals off the metal from contact with both oxygen and moisture. I use it on Horticultural machinery but it’s around £20 a litre.

While we are on the topic, what is the relationship (if any) between JD and Bell? I know that some of Bell's ATDs use, or did use, JD engines and I believe that JD put their name on some Bell kit.
