M we start at end of March and go through to late Oct, We have done pickering for a few years now but thats farthest north we go up the east side, we low load the Mayor to most events but do road it as well, but at 28 turns lock to lock it can get hairy cause she will fly along in big wheel. The Garrett Jock an Chris road everywhere they've done over 1000 miles this year on her.

Hi Daz - Good guess at Bedford but from 2010 Yes got a few K more.
Been to too many events to count this year, as go to some of the tractor & commercial vehicle events as well. Been from Corbridge on the Borders in the north down to Beaulie & Tinkers park in the south and Strumpshaw in the east to Anglesey in the west. Last event this year was Newark tractor show - only 1 full size steamer - The Case of T Ledbury

I've got some of most of the engines at Bedford, but missed the odd one as they keep moving about too much let me know who/what/which event and i can try and find some of them.

Heres a few from Haddenham the week before Bedford.

Dave

Spot on Graham the 1st two photo's are of Colin at least 2 years ago because thats Colin's old truck. Bit naughty as a 6x4 is overloaded with a "CANPAC" on the back. When he went up the road with it he set it back on the trailer a good 3 metre's from the neck. Now Colin has a 4 axle "T300AHH" Colin has done dorset for a fair few years both with Engineering Services and then Allely's.
Graham you probably know the owner of "King George V" Mr Les Searle, Les has a number of engines and "KGV" is one of only 16 Burrell Scenics left they are all 8nhp engines apart from 1 thats "Exmayor" she's a 10nhp.
Nice Matador very smart not overdone which is nice, have a soft spot for them know a few people who still use them on timber commercially. Keep em coming Daz

Nice selection graham

The Steam boys pulling the modern Heavy haluage load allways looks impresive. But i do woinder about the strain placed on the drawbars & hitches during such demos.

That AEC Matadors different in the light blue/grey ? colour scheme not seen that about at events ive been to.
