Evening all...nows the time for a 432f whilst its still got usable tool box....when the new engines fitted in the new year, storage capacity will be greatly reduced due to new exhaust set up....they tell me the cat torque lock is even quicker off the mark....the Jcb only coming good after half a mile or so.....I'd be interested to try cats 5 speed as jcbs 6 speed is lightening on the road but always seems to be in the wrong gear on site(2nd too low....3rd way too high)....the wide boom and sloppy service put me off the cat but I did like the feel of the machine and the build.....re the tyres....Jcb s don't look like bkt s....bkt s are quite soft in compound and are actually a pretty good ag tyre....today's gripsters are hard, cheap looking things.....Barum or stomil possibly...have to say,3cx drives completely different on michelins....grip brilliantly, quick self cleaning and long lasting...cheap tyres are only cheap on the day ime..

Polish
Good to hear from you
Have read many of your posts
I went to Volvos and looked at a bl71
Nice tool and same sort of money as the 432f
But no t/lock
We do a lot of roading and this pushed us to cat

Evening bobcat....I always said I d never pay extra for t/lock as only my customers gained really....that,and I ve always managed without.....a typical case of what you ve never had,you ll never miss....but the 3cx is a dream for roading....it just makes such short work of trips that are 2 -3 miles long.....only now can I fully appreciate operators reluctance to buy a machine without it...

How are you getting on with the jake
The man at duxford said the bl71 may get the t/lock in 18 months time

The jury's out.....strangely,I like it....but I don't know why.....it's flows are c**p.....fine grading in one hit is a no go area....whereas the 71 was sublime(stick machine)....I d never want to crib Volvo,it's staff or the 71...they are industry leading ime but dedication to backhoe development is lacking IMO....power slide took forever to come....and torq lock in 18 months????.......I ve heard ducks fart before!........

Always had jakes
But the things that are now said about the latest models must affect resale/export in years to come that is why I am looking at other brands
