Default 2001 js 160 throttle and elec problems

Hi guys

Our trusty old 160 has given Us some grief today. Firstly it wouldn't start, but it was showing the fuel gauge as full. Cycled the ignition a few times and gauge showed 2 bars which seemed more in line, hey presto she fired. Working well. Stopped for tea. Went back gauge showing 3/4 full but no start. The throttle motor isn't moving at all. I know it should move a little once ignition is on.

Is the fuel gauge any relation to this throttle fault? The gauge has always been iffy in the last years. Even with a full tank it would scream low fuel level.

Now she won't start at all no matter what because that throttle motor isn't moving.

Thoughts?
. Cheers
