Unhappy Mystery starter

Takeuchi TB125 starts when fresh but not on further attempts that same day.
Have attached bypass wire to touch on live terminal at battery and it then starts but it’s a pain to have to get out to do it.
Can anyone explain what’s wrong?

but'll then start the following day ????? once?
do you isolate the batteries overnight?
have you tried isolating and then re-trying it ?
sounds like a control system fault
do you have any dash lights on once started ??
might possibly even the be the isolator itself??
or a dicky earth to the starter relay

It could be a hydraulic service pressurising the system. When it's cold the pressure has released overnight. When its warm the pressure has built up again. Try the offset pedal or breaker pedal?

Just a thought.

it's an electrical fault ..... it'll start with a jump wire to the starter
